I’m posting this to anyone of my followers who are on tumblr, and to whoever happens to be on tumblr now. I am writing this to all those who think Islam = Terrorism. I am writing this to tell people that terrorists pervert Islam, and use God to justify murder. I am writing this to tell me I am tired of people using my religion, my WONDERFUL religion that means peace, to kill others. Because in no way, shape, or form does Islam condone, accept, or preach violence. If any idiot who agrees with this, they are WRONG. Pick up the Quran; our holy book, read the sayings of the prophet, and tell me otherwise. How about I tell you otherwise. Surah Maidah Ayah 32: Kill one man it is as if you have killed all of humanity, save one man, it is as if you have killed all of humanity. I mean I’m no scholar or genius, but to me it seems Islam condemns violence, doesn’t it? I mean it is saying that killing one person is equivalent to killing the whole fucking world. I mean some people think we support, promote, and even encourage terrorism/ violence. I, on the other hand say, as well as every Muslim, Islam condemns, demote, and even discourage terrorism/ violence. But who am I, just a Muslim American who strongly supports peace, advocates for others, and is a hysterical glee fan. But hey, don’t believe me, just crack open the Quran and find out yourself, or talk to a Muslim. And maybe possibly they’d give you this ayah, or maybe you could OPEN the Quran and find this verse. If you strongly believe Islam = Violence, then wouldn’t it say so in the Quran. Wrong, Islam is in no way connected or affiliated with violence. It is a beautiful religion that promotes peace, it obligates Muslims to greet you with their smile/ cheese, and it tells us to feed the orphan and take care of the poor. But who am I? I’m just one of the 1.6 billions Muslims in the world, and the Taliban only consists of under 40, 000. I mean why judge a whole majority/ group of human beings based on the actions of some. Terrorist are not even worthy to be estimated at some; they are minuscule. For all those who think Muslims are violent, smile, and say Assalaamu Alaykum, and see what they do. For the most part they’ll reply and smile back. I mean does that look like a terrorist to you?

- Did you know the first wife of the prophet was 14 years older than him and she asked him to marry her? He agreed to marry him and they were married together for 25 years. Then she passed away. Everyone he married after her death was only to take care of them. Most were widows who needed HIS help.

- Some Muslim women wear head scarves for modesty, something you probably know nothing about.

Also, you know what’s the saddest part of your life? You will never get to know what beauty Islam and Muslims truly hold. Just like anybody who hates any race, Religion or culture. So have a laugh, keep talking about things you know nothing about but at the end of the day I will keep you in my prayers and hope that God will help you grow up and learn that no good can come from hate.
